This is the holiday list that I saved to my Pinterest board this July:

I'd like to say, actually, I'm doing a pretty good job this year. But whew, did I get busy today! 

Here are a few other things that ended up on my To-Do list today...

 ✅ Holiday gift wrapping, bought

 ✅ Post office, I’ve been there twice today
 🚘 Braving the mall for a last minute gift 

🍪 Bake some Christmas cookies*

I know so many of y'all can relate to this that I just had to share. The holidays can just seem like a whirlwind!

But even with all the things still left on my list, I wanted to jot out a quick note before our office officially shuts down for the year.

Thank you for being with us in a year that saw Mothers Against Greg Abbott grow to the largest coalition of its kind, full of hundreds of thousands of parents — folks just like you — who’ve all come together and fight to defend our democracy and protect all of our rights.  With you by our side, we've done so much.

I am truly so joyful when I think about what parent power has accomplished, and I hope you are too!

I hope these next few days are spent with your loved ones and for us all to cherish the moments of peace, joy, and love that the holidays can bring.
