John, recently, libraries have been subjected to violent threats like bomb scares, causing not only disruptions to services but also instilling fear among dedicated library workers and patrons.
Moreover, the rise of book bans and censorship attempts is an attack on the very principles libraries stand for – freedom of information and the right to access diverse perspectives. Attempting to censor or restrict access to information is a direct assault on these fundamental values.
