We've seen the AIPAC playbook. They target progressive, working-class candidates of color. They abuse campaign finance laws to spend millions of dollars on misleading attack ads. And they're willing to undermine democracy to slow our progressive movement — they endorsed over 100 Republicans who defend the January 6th insurrection.1
AIPAC has usually held off from opposing incumbents. Not this time.
The same Republican donors who give millions to election-denying Republicans including Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, and Ted Cruz, are now challenging progressives across the country — in hopes of distracting from our efforts to flip back the House majority.
In Congress, I've worked hard to pass bold, transformative legislation. As the first woman of color to serve as the sole chair of the Progressive Caucus, I've organized inside Congress to build power for our movement. I worked to secure the single-largest investment in climate action in American history. I've passed massive bills to create new, good-paying union jobs — all while making sure the wealthy and powerful corporations pay their fair share.
And yes, I've called for the immediate release of Israeli hostages taken by Hamas and a ceasefire in Gaza.
That's exactly why AIPAC and their Republican megadonors have pledged to spend $100 million against our movement and put me on their target list.
