28 Indonesians victims of human trafficking rescued and repatriated
Indonesian officials, alerted by a partner of IJM Indonesia, took on a case involving 28 citizens forced to work at online scam centers in Cambodia. The collaborative efforts of IJM Cambodia, local authorities and various organizations facilitated the survivors' rescue. This successful rescue and repatriation highlight the importance of international cooperation in combating human trafficking.

How Honduras is strengthening its system to protect women and children
In 2021, Honduras had the highest femicide rate in Latin America with 4.6 femicides per 100,000 inhabitants. To address the pressing need for increased security for women and children, IJM El Salvador and Guatemala used their expertise to support the launch of a new initiative focused on collaborating with the Honduran Public Justice System to build its capacity to serve victims and survivors with a trauma-informed approach.
