North Carolina’s election filing period ended last Friday. You won’t be surprised to learn that a big-government leftist whose political platform appears to be abortion maximalism and distorting my conservative track-record filed to flip North Carolina’s Fifth District blue. In other words, business as usual for the far-left.
The far-left is utterly bent on attacking my record and our conservative successes.

Just last week we notched a major victory. The president of the University of Pennsylvania resigned in disgrace after she failed to condemn antisemitism alongside the presidents of MIT and Harvard during a hearing my committee held on the plague of antisemitism on college campuses.
Why did she step down? It’s simple: she refused to give a clear answer to a basic question about antisemitism and incitements to genocide on campus. Donors, alumni and elected officials were rightly incensed at her refusal to clearly condemn calls for the slaughter of Jews.
As a result of this hearing and the appalling testimony from their presidents, the committee I lead has opened an official investigation into antisemitism at MIT, UPenn and Harvard and other universities who are not standing up for their Jewish students.
Leftist ideology has completely infected most universities, which means schools have double standards on what speech is accepted on campus. I was disgusted to come face to face with the reality that this rot goes all the way to the top in our most “prestigious” universities. Hence our investigation.
Of course the far-left isn’t going to allow their decades-long infiltration of our higher education system to be contested. So the character assassination, threats, and excuse-making are already incoming.
