Dear john, |
I’m overwhelmed, and I’m guessing you are, too. In this time of global uncertainty and escalating health concerns, we are all inundated with alarming updates from countless sources. I understand and share widespread worries about the health and safety of our families and communities. But I am also alarmed by this: 820 million people around the globe are still facing hunger every single day. They are unsure where their next meal will come from, and we cannot afford to leave our beneficiaries without support. Restrictions on large gatherings have led to the cancellation or postponement of 150+ upcoming meal packaging events, putting our financial ability to support schools, hospitals and maternal health centers in jeopardy. |

In times of global crisis like the one we face today, vulnerable, undernourished communities are at even greater risk of contracting illness and disease. Hunger and poverty do not cease to exist when the global attention is, understandably, focused elsewhere. With great intention, we turn our thoughts back to girls like Maria, boys like Luke and mothers like May. |

Can we count on you to help meet our commitment to serve the children and families who are still counting on us? If so, please give now. |

Thank you for your unwavering support for those in need. Sincerely, Edna OgwangiChief Impact Officer |
