Friends, I'll be honest with you, there are real challenges to defending our Senate majority in 2024.

There are 23 Democratic seats up for grabs. That's a massive number. And far too many of them are in incredibly tough states like West Virginia. If we lose even one, we could be handing control of the Senate over to MAGA extremists.

Now, trust me, I know from experience that it's more than possible for Democrats to beat the odds and win those tough races that everyone says are impossible.

But in a year like 2024, we need to be firing on all cylinders. And that means running competitive, well-funded campaigns in flippable battleground states. And that's exactly what Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is doing in Florida.

But right now, Debbie is up against a critical $300,000 end-of-quarter fundraising goal, and her team just told me that they're pacing behind where they need to be. I'm proud to say that I was a big fan of Debbie long before she announced her Senate campaign. During her time in the House, Debbie worked hard to deliver meaningful results for the families she swore to serve. She even wrote the bill to expand Medicare coverage. After leaving Congress, she teamed up with my wife Gabby to help lead the fight to end gun violence and pass lifesaving gun safety reforms.

Now, Debbie is taking her fight for progress to the Senate — and her race is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in the country.

Her opponent is ranked as one of the top 10 vulnerable senators heading into the 2024 elections and polling data shows Debbie has secured a narrow one-point lead.
