The GOSAFE Act supports responsible gun owners and protects our communities from senseless violence. The design of certain guns allows them to inflict devastating amounts of harm in a small amount of time. This law will prevent those weapons of war from flooding our streets — but will not affect firearms that are commonly used for hunting and self-defense.
For decades, Colorado has been rocked by one mass shooting after another. It’s up to us to prevent these tragedies in the future.
