John,
From all of our team, please know that you and your family are in our
thoughts. As we all make changes to adjust to the coronavirus pandemic, I
wanted to send over an update.
Safety Information
First and foremost, please be sure to follow the advice of medical
professionals regarding coronavirus. Social media is a great way to share
information – but it’s also opened the floodgate for conspiracies,
fraud, and scientifically inaccurate information regarding this
outbreak.
To ensure you and your family are doing everything possible to be safe,
please refer to the guidelines from the Center for Disease Control at
www.CDC.gov and the World Health Organization at www.WHO.int.
Helping Our Neighbors
The coronavirus requires a national and an international response –
but please don’t discount the good we can do in our local communities.
I’m particularly concerned for our seniors and immunocompromised
neighbors.
Do your part by checking in regularly by phone, text, or email.
That’s especially important if they don’t have nearby family. Many
at-risk people will need to self-isolate and knowing that they aren’t
alone will help manage their concerns. You can also help connect them with
local resources if they need medications, food, or other supplies.
Our Campaign
Safety and community support are my primary concern, but we’re also
be making adjustments to the way our campaign will function over the coming
weeks and months. I’ve instructed my team to postpone all in-person
events and begin transitioning to a digital-heavy organizing strategy.
We’ll have more details soon. Until then, I want you to know that
trusted leadership is more important now than ever. We’ll continue to
share my message with every voter possible while ensuring we’re keeping
our staff, volunteers, and supporters safe.

As always, thank you for your continued support.
