More than 400 Jewish facilities and organizations across the U.S. were targeted with bomb threats last weekend, raising new security concerns for the American Jewish community. A new report from ADL found numerous examples of blatant antisemitism appearing in the political cartoons of some of the most highly trafficked newspapers and websites in the Middle East. ADL joined with LULAC and other organizations in condemning remarks by former President Trump, after he told supporters that migrants are &ldquo;poisoning the blood of our country&rdquo; at a campaign rally.

More than 400 Jewish facilities received false bomb threats this weekend, non-profit says

&ldquo;More than 400 Jewish facilities across the US have received false bomb threats over email since Saturday, according to the Anti-Defamation League, an international Jewish non-profit organization. Oren Segal, Vice President of the Center on Extremism at the Anti-Defamation League, told CNN they believe one person or a small number of individuals were behind the series of threats.&rdquo; CNN:

Jordanian newspaper publishes cartoon of Netanyahu drinking blood

Civil rights groups say Trump&rsquo;s comments are &lsquo;reminiscent&rsquo; of Hitler

As we have said before, saying that immigrants are &lsquo;poisoning the blood of our country&rsquo; echoes nativist talking points and has the potential to cause real danger and violence. We have seen this kind of toxic rhetoric inspire real-world violence before in places like Pittsburgh and El Paso. It should have no place in our politics, period.
