This week, Governor Holcomb delivered some great news to members of the Indiana National Guard:
This will be the first year that Hoosier Guardsmen no longer have to pay the state income tax.
“Indiana continues to demonstrate our state’s enduring appreciation for the exemplary women and men who serve our local communities, state and nation in the Indiana National Guard.”

This announcement follows the military exemption bill that Governor Holcomb signed into law in May, which highlights his commitment to the approximately 12,000 Hoosier Guardsmen who defend our state.
