I hope 2023 blessed you with good health, strong community, and professional fulfillment. For me, the past year has been a change of pace after a vigorous campaign in 2022.
Trustee duties at Mt. San Antonio College kept me busy, as we opened a massive 100,000 SF student center, an Olympics-caliber aquatics facility, and a bus transit hub that will benefit the San Gabriel Valley. I'm proud of Mt. SAC's role in powering the local economy.
The US Navy continues to serve as the tip of the spear in the Pacific, and as a 7th Fleet reservist I returned to the Korean peninsula for a joint exercise with our South Korean allies.
Our two boys are now in the second and fourth grades. They experienced summer school in Taiwan as well as travels in Japan and Spain. Sadly we had to say goodbye to our beloved terrier Mozart (14 years).
I am so grateful for your friendship and support. While I’m not running for Congress this cycle, I will seek re-election to the Mt. SAC Board. Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful 2024!

P.S. I would love to hear how you've been, and what you look forward to next year. Drop me an email!
