In all seriousness, I'm running to defeat Ted Cruz and serve alongside heroes like Raphael Warnock and Cory Booker so we can work together to make real progress for Texans – and working families across the country.

Affordable health care, reproductive freedom, voting rights, and tackling the climate crisis are just a few things you can expect me to fight for when I make it to the Senate – all issues where you and I both know Ted Cruz has voted against what’s best for Texas.

Like Raphael and Cory, I'm also hoping to become the first African American elected to serve my state in the Senate. Together, we can make the Senate more representative of the folks it serves, but I need your help to get there. So please, will you chip in now to help me make history?
