2023 was undoubtedly the year where MAGA Republicans tried it all. 

We saw George Santos's rise to infamy, got bombshell after bombshell report of Supreme Court ethics violations committed by Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, and Donald Trump, in spite of everything, is still running for president.

But it was also a great year for accountability. 

We finally ousted Santos from the House of Representatives. We submitted hundreds of thousands of signatures to Senate leadership and pressured them to finally subpoena the billionaires buying our Supreme Court justices. Trump was indicted on 91 counts across four criminal cases for his role in trying to topple our democracy. Even Rudy Giuliani was slapped with a $148 million fine for defaming poll workers in Georgia with lies about the 2020 election.

And 2023 was an even better year for protecting democracy in the states.

We helped elect democracy champions to state Supreme Court benches, defeat ballot measures that threatened our democracy and fundamental freedoms, and even helped expand voting rights in multiple states as MAGA Republicans across the country were doing the darndest to suppress them.

All of those victories are thanks to you.
