Late Friday night, I supported a package to provide relief to families and small businesses that may be impacted by the COVID-19 virus. It is crucial that we do our best to flatten the curve and keep our communities safe.

President Trump's administration has been working with medical and private sector leaders to do everything they can to protect the American people. This includes ensuring everyone who receives a test can do so without the burden of cost and those hard-working Americans are provided with assistance if they become ill, quarantined or need to care for those who are.

I also understand this virus and the necessary social-distancing will have a large impact on our local small businesses. I am committed to helping the people that work at these businesses through this tough time. I am actively looking for ways to help our local business through funding and regulatory relief.

The House passing the Families First Coronavirus Response Act was the first step to ensure we tackle this virus.

I want to thank you for your continued support and prayers as we join with local leaders to ensure our communities are safe. Please do your best to follow the guidelines provided by the CDC, I've listed links below for your information.
