John, yesterday a federal court began hearing arguments on the legal challenge to Republican drawn congressional maps aimed at drawing me out of Congress. Within a few hours, the AJC reported that the judge dealt a blow to the challenge – which means I have to be ready for any outcome.

The GOP-controlled state legislature created and passed the maps with the clear goal of dissolving my district to push me out of Congress. After this first day in court, it’s clear I must be ready for this to go either way.
