As a first-generation Afro-Latino American and a conservative- I have always dealt with critics, naysayers, and people who just flat-out refuse to be in my corner. But I will never let those people stop me from representing our citizens for the greater good; my mother taught me better than that.
My family means everything to me - they've made me who I am. So, I must ensure that I leave this country better than it is today. One with no economic downfall, where they feel safe to walk down the street and have confidence in our nation, just as I'm sure you want for your family - I fully understand.
