Hi John,
Today’s the first official day of winter. It looks like we’re in for a snowy one – and as we head into the new season, I’d like to bring your attention to a few ways we can help fellow Delawareans in need:
One Warm Coat has an interactive map which shows coat drives near you. Please drop off any clean coats you or your loved ones no longer use so that every Delawarean can stay warm this winter.
The Food Bank of Delaware is an organization I’m proud to have partnered with in the past – I joined them ahead of Thanksgiving to provide families with warm meals. You can click the link for drop-off locations and hours. Remember, canned goods and other non-perishables are preferred!
And finally, Toys for Tots offers amazing opportunities to bring holiday joy to children in need, with toy drop locations all across the state.
John, I’m proud to say we take care of our neighbors – it’s the Delaware way. If there are any other organizations you’re planning on donating to this season, feel free to reply directly to this email to let me know!
