I’ll level with you, this is infuriating.
When I was campaigning in Central and Northwestern Illinois last year, I heard from dozens, if not hundreds, of constituents about the importance of protecting access to affordable, high quality health care.
It’s also unconscionable that the GOP, including people like my possible opponent Joe McGraw, have remained silent and even support this cruel proposal. We need to expand access to health insurance, not gut it.
I represent one of the most competitive congressional districts in the country, and Republicans are gunning to replace me with someone who will be a rubber stamp for their dangerous agenda.
The end of this month marks our final FEC deadline of the year, and with 10 days left, we’re tracking a bit behind where we need to be. Can I count on you to contribute $5 or whatever you can afford to make sure this seat stays blue so we can defeat GOP attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act?
