The Stop the Bleed Coalition is an IRS approved, tax exempt, 501(c)3 charitable organization. It was formed with a mandate to support the STOP THE BLEED® campaign and is the only nonprofit organization with that singular purpose.

The STOP THE BLEED® campaign has grown considerably this year with a growing pool of qualified STOP THE BLEED®  instructors, a significant increase in the number of people trained - both in the US and around the world and more STOP THE BLEED® equipment deployed.

Here are some examples of our work:

The Coalition has continued its support of the STOP THE BLEED® Scholarship and Grant programs which have made over $300,000 in awards.

We developed and released the new DoD approved STOP THE BLEED® course- The Essentials of STOP THE BLEED® that includes both clinical and practical training.

Translated this course from English to Spanish, Italian, Hebrew and Arabic (with more coming in 2024!)

Developed and launched the new STOP THE BLEED®  Instructor Licensing program, which includes a wide variety of free tools and resources to support instructor's work.

All of this is made possible through the passionate support of individuals and organizations who recognize the importance of STOP THE BLEED®.

Connect with the Stop the Bleed Coalition

The Coalition is a community of individuals and organizations who are passionate about the STOP THE BLEED® campaign. The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project.

STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
