We wanted to make sure you saw Tammy's email from yesterday about the GOP's latest efforts to restrict reproductive freedoms and why your support is so important to our efforts to stop them.

Last June, the far-right Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade — effectively taking an established right away from Americans for one of the first times in our nation's history.

Last September, Senator Lindsey Graham introduced legislation that would implement a 15-week abortion ban nationwide, attempting to further erode our reproductive freedoms.

Then, just last week, the Supreme Court announced that they would take up a case on the future of Mifepristone, a commonly-used medication that the FDA declared to be safe and effective over two decades ago, not just for abortion, but for treating miscarriages, diabetes, Cushing's Syndrome and even to help Gulf War Veterans exposed to neurotoxic chemicals during combat.

The GOP have shown time and time again the lengths they're willing to go to to undermine our constitutional rights and drag our country back to a time that should be left long in the past. With millions of Americans understandably afraid about what comes next, it is as important as ever that we reaffirm our commitment to protecting reproductive freedom for all.

This is exactly why we need more pro-choice, Democratic women at every level of government, including the Senate, where our razor-thin majority is already at risk as we head into 2024.

So I'm asking you today:

We know that if Mitch McConnell's GOP regains control of the Senate, a nationwide ban is near the very top of their agenda. It’s on us to do everything we can to protect safe, accessible abortions, bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom for all.
