In a moment, I’m going to ask if you can contribute as little as $5 to our grassroots campaign, but before I do, I hope you’ll let me explain why donations to emails like this one matter.
Our end-of-year fundraising goal is rapidly approaching just 10 days from now and unfortunately, we’re not where we need to be at this point in the month if we’re going to hit our $7,500 goal before midnight on December 31.
This campaign to support my work as the People’s Attorney is truly fueled by you, the people. It’s my job to seek justice and fight for the rights of every Californian. Without supporters like you, I wouldn’t be in this position.
We took on a lot of bad actors over this past year, including Big Pharma, Big Tobacco, and Big Oil and Gas for their harm to our environment, health, and well-being. And we fought back against right-wing attacks on our most basic rights such as reproductive freedom.
I’m doing everything in my ability to move California and our country forward, not backward. I know there will be tough fights ahead of us in 2024, and it’s going to take all of us doing our part to solve the big issues facing our communities.
As always, the more we raise from grassroots supporters like you through emails like this one, the less time I have to spend on fundraising and the more I can focus on the critical work in front of us.
