Despite their mother’s tenacious advocacy and their early diagnoses of autism and ADHD, Ms. George’s three sons faced significant delays in getting the educational support they needed to thrive.

We worked with Ms. George to identify the right path for each of her sons and worked with their schools to get updated evaluations and essential services for each child, including specialized virtual instruction, small group programs and compensatory services for the delays.

The boys have done well in school this year, and Ms. George has been able to utilize advice from Children's Law Center in ongoing meetings with their schools to make sure the boys continue to get the support they need.

For students with disabilities, every week that goes by not getting the right services can compound the impact of the delay as they fall further and further behind their peers. Help us reach thousands more children like the George brothers who need these supports now.

We are so thankful to those who have already doubled their impact this holiday season – your support helps us advocate directly for thousands of children each year and reach tens of thousands more through systemic reforms.

Matching funds from our generous donors are only available until midnight on Sunday, the 31st. Please make a first gift before this year ends so that children like the George brothers can receive the timely educational supports they need. Your gift will be matched dollar for dollar!^
