John, I never saw myself running for office. But with Emerge’s programs and support, I defeated a 13-term GOP incumbent who proudly called himself Virginia’s “chief homophobe.” Now, I’m part of a movement of Democratic women transforming politics all across the United States. And with all our rights on the line in the 2024 elections, I’m reaching out to ask you to be a part of it, too. 

This year, Emerge women were critical in holding the Virginia state Senate and flipping the House of Delegates back to blue. Our win rate tells a story, John. It shows that communities in every state are rallying around Emerge women because we belong to the communities we serve and know the urgent needs of our neighbors.
