A coalition of legislators launched the Minnesota Values Project to provoke conversation and solicit feedback from voters about their hopes, challenges, and issues they’d like to see lawmakers prioritize next session.
Several lawmakers have asked constituents to complete the new Minnesota Values Project survey, and we would love for you to give your input and highlight ranked choice voting and democracy reform as issues that are important to you. Now more than ever, we need to protect and strengthen our democracy, and RCV is one of the most important and achievable ways we can do that. RCV would make our elections more diverse and inclusive, eliminate the spoiler problem, reduce extremism, and ensure winners are elected by a majority of voters. We want to make sure all local jurisdictions have the power to adopt RCV if they wish and continue to expand this important reform statewide.
The survey only takes a few minutes, and your input as a democracy advocate is important. |
The survey has six short questions about your outlook on our state, as well as an opportunity to share your vision for Minnesota and the priorities for next session.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey and making sure that RCV is part of the discussion! Your FairVote MN team |
