Hello John,
We hope you are having a happy and healthy winter season! We want to take a moment to thank you for your support of Save the Boundary Waters - it’s been a historical year in the fight to protect Canoe Country. The Boundary Waters received the most significant conservation measure since the 1978 Boundary Waters Act. You helped make this happen.
However, this cherished Wilderness is persistently under threat. Exploratory drilling in the watershed of the Boundary Waters was approved this fall, not to mention Rep. Stauber’s legislation to reverse our hard-fought 20-year mining ban is making its way through the halls of Congress. We are at a critical moment in the fight to protect this Wilderness forever.
We sincerely hope we can continue to count on your involvement, whether by contacting lawmakers, attending events, spreading awareness online, or supporting us financially to pursue solutions that not only protect the Boundary Waters today, but for generations to come. Thank you for your love and commitment to the Boundary Waters.
Happy Holidays,
-The Team at Save the Boundary Waters
