Republicans have controlled the levers of power in North Carolina for so long that they’ve forgotten how to negotiate to pass their legislation.
Thanks to you, we broke up their supermajority in 2018 -- now they’re panicking.
Roy is ready to work across the aisle to do what’s right for our state, but Republican lawmakers are turning their backs – even trying to buy off votes to avoid negotiations – and it’s North Carolinians who are paying for GOP politics-as-usual.
While Republicans are refusing to come to the table, teachers and state employees are not receiving the pay raises they deserve, increased education funding is stalled, and major infrastructure projects are on hold.
