John,
As we contemplate the last 50 years and prepare for the coming year, two undeniable truths emerge. First, we are incredibly grateful for your support in
safeguarding numerous parks, playgrounds, and green spaces.
Secondly, it's evident there's still a lot of important work ahead of
us. We can't wait to get started on our next 50 years!

Over the past half century, we've completed thousands of projects.
These 50 stand out.
Fishpond Access Protected in Perpetuity
[link removed]
Thousands of people visit Hawai?i's Halulu Fishpond every year,
where one can connect with ??ina (land), culture, and
community. Together with our partners, we've preserved a
quarter-acre property on the north shore of Kaua'i to ensure
access to and protection of Halulu in perpetuity.
Coffee + Conversation = Great Parks

"When you go to someone's house, what do they do?"
asks Gloria Galindo. "They offer you something to drink."
Such was the origin of coffee-fueled conversations about the future of
parks in and around Greeley, Colorado-along with tasty snacks,
of course.
Breaking Ground on Atlanta's First Public Access to the Chattahoochee
River
[link removed]
City of Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickinson joined TPL for the
groundbreaking of the first-ever public access point to the
Chattahoochee River within Atlanta's city limits. This stretch of the
Chattahoochee RiverLands will also be the northernmost site of the new
Camp+Paddle Trail, which will offer a way to experience 48 miles of
the Chattahoochee River in a three-night paddle from Peachtree Creek
to Carroll County.
Park Equity Progress in Massachusetts

We recently welcomed the Boston Housing Authority (BHA) to the
10-Minute Walk Park Equity Accelerator program. As part of the
program, TPL will help BHA in surveying and inventorying outdoor open
spaces at their housing properties for park improvement projects.
The First Park Preserve in Isanti County, Minnesota

This fast-developing area is in need of parkland, which is why TPL
helped preserve 730 acres to create the county's first park
preserve!
A Collaboration of Communities

Through the generosity of donors like Cindy Horn, and a combined
effort with the local community, TPL completed the Harrell Forest
Community Trails project. This trail system is an inspiring project
that will allow the rapidly growing community of Big Fork, Montana, to
more easily connect to the outdoors.
