Mid December AVFCA Blog Posts!

Support A Voice for Choice's Writing Team
so AVFCA can continue Educating
on Health Rights Topics in 2024!

A Voice for Choice's passionate and dedicated team of paid writers, led by our Managing Editor spend hours researching and writing on a wide variety of topics that fall within AVFCA's mission to Educate, Advocate and Empower people to know their health rights. One exciting project AVFCA is working on is a magazine made up of some of these AVFCA team written articles, which will be mailed to all 120 legislators. You will also have the chance to purchase the magazine to give to friends and family. As the year comes to an end, AVFCA asks you to donate to as much as you can to support our efforts in 2024, so we can continue educating and advocating.

During the first half of December, AVFCA brought awareness to specific observance days by sharing our original stories that matched these themes:

Winter Holidays / Christmas : "‘Tis the Season To Be Aware of Harmful Toxins in Your Christmas Tree”

All Christmas trees are not created equal. Awareness of bringing harmful toxins into your home from sprayed trees is suggested. There can be over eight chemicals mingling with your ornaments—some carcinogenic. Details of how to source clean, non-sprayed trees are explored. [link removed] [[link removed]]

World Soil Day : "Hidden Glyphosate in Your Food: Part Two - Impact on Human Health”

Links to chronic health conditions on the rise, including ADHD and autism in children were explored. Included is where you can get tested for glyphosate toxin exposure, the current legislative update in Canada (gov. is now “hands-off”; allowing corporations to lead), and what some of the top researchers are saying. Human Rights Day : "Creating Your Sincerely Held Religious Belief Exemption in the New Year”

Pandemic or not, it's always important to know your rights around your sincerely held religious beliefs, and implications for vaccination exemptions. Definitions, privacy issues, and how to file are addressed. [link removed] [[link removed]]

Our team also reads hundreds of articles each week, and those of interest are shared on our social media platforms. However, once or twice a week, our team reads an article that is profound or shares a perspective that is new or from an expert that AVFCA feels should be highlighted. These articles are shared on our Substack.
