Hi John, it’s Michelle, Chrissy’s chief political advisor. I wanted to give you a gentle “poke” (do people still use that Facebook term? 🤔) about Chrissy’s email below since we’re not quite where I’d hoped to be.

I know that we’ve “poked” you quite a bit this year about endorsing Chrissy as your representative. But to ensure Chrissy wins, it’s my job to make sure we’ve got the power and resources we need every step of the way – and that you haven’t changed your mind.

Since Chrissy’s seat is up for grabs in 2024, it’s more important than ever that we start the new year strong so that we can protect her job and keep her fight for progress pushing forward. That’s why I’m asking for your help today.

John,

I’m proud of the many hats I’ve worn: a third-generation military veteran, an engineer, an entrepreneur, a high school chemistry teacher, and a nonprofit leader. But more than any other, I’m proud of the time that I’ve served as your representative to Congress. 

By sticking to the facts and collaborating with colleagues on both sides of the aisle, I’ve been able to secure investments in our local economy, stand up for women’s reproductive rights, protect veterans’ health care in our region, and fight back against extremism. We’ve also helped constituents resolve frustrating issues with the IRS, passports, track down lost mail, and get home after being stuck overseas.

But as a representative, I get put to the test every two years at the ballot box – and with my seat up for grabs, Republicans are looking for any chance they can to undo all of the work we’ve done together in this grassroots movement.

We can’t let misinformation and extremism win – but I really want to know you’re standing with me. Will you please take a moment to endorse me as your representative for 2024. Please, don’t wait: I’m hoping for 2,500 responses to stay on track.
