In this role, you will provide application support, business configuration, and stakeholder engagement to two statewide HR applications, the Online Recruiting System (OLRS) will be your primary focus and you may support the WA State Learning Center to cover for other team members. Our team?s mission is to help Washington State attract and retain a highly motivated, engaged, and skilled workforce. ?Your work in the Online Recruiting System directly impacts the state?s ability to do that. ?Additionally, any work you perform on the team backing up the Learning Center directly helps ensure that workforce is current on statewide training requirements as well as take advantage of the ability to develop themselves and further their career and expand how the support the state. ?You are the ?E? in the Department of Enterprise Services. ?You directly impact and support all state agencies as well as many quasi-state and public sector organizations.?

The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver and a patient coach for application end-users. You have experience providing technical assistance for an application, with the ability to listen to understand customer expectations and needs and apply these to future system updates or process improvements. You are customer-focused, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and are skilled at identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement.
