This year especially, we reflect on the recent passing of Norman Lear, the founder of People For the American Way. Norman was a visionary in his field and also someone who deeply valued the importance of family. His commitment to protecting American democracy serves as an inspiration to us all, particularly as we prepare for an election year in which its survival may very well be on the ballot.
