Tell the Washington Post: Workers deserve a fair contract NOW

After 18 months of negotiating with management, Washington Post employees still lack a contract that keeps pace with inflation and guarantees workers a living wage. More than 750 workers walked off the job two weeks ago, but the company  returned to the bargaining table with peanuts — an unacceptable response to the will of workers. Tell the Post's publisher that workers demand a fair contract NOW.

 

Staff at Foreign Policy magazine secure new union contract

After months of bargaining, staff at Foreign Policy magazine secured a new contract this week that boosts salary floors, extends parental leave, and strengthens telecommuting protections, among others.
