John,
As we approach the end of 2023, it’s time for us to reflect on what we’ve done this year and what work lies ahead of us. So let’s go back to March, when Cori launched the first ever Congressional Equal Rights Amendment Caucus with Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley on the 100th anniversary of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) being first introduced in Congress.
Cori took the lead here because it had been far too long for women, Black and brown folks, LGBTQ+ people, and other marginalized groups to wait for constitutional gender equality — and waiting longer wasn’t an option.
We have to continue to support Cori’s work in advocating for gender equality and making sure that marginalized groups don’t get left behind. Donate $5 today to help re-elect Cori in 2024 so she can continue leading on protecting our equal rights.

In addition to launching the first-ever congressional caucus aimed at recognizing the Equal Rights Amendment as part of our constitution, introduced a resolution in July to publish the Equal Rights Amendment in the federal register, cementing it as a formal part of the U.S. Constitution. Certifying the ERA as the 28th amendment would protect access to abortion care nationwide, defeat bans on gender-affirming healthcare, shore up marriage equality, eliminate the gender wage gap, help end the epidemic of violence against women and girls, and do so much more.
Cori launched the ERA caucus and introduced this resolution to make sure constitutional gender equality is a national priority and that we continue to honor the long legacy of women and activists, especially Black women leaders, to build an inclusive multi-generational and multi-racial movement that guarantees the rights of all people in our country once and for all. Because equality is overdue.
We need leaders like Cori who come from movements fighting for equality because that experience deeply informs her work and her commitment to the people. Cori knows that she’s building on the work that was started over 100 years ago and that it’s going to take much more work to get to a place where everyone feels safe and free regardless of their gender identity. She’s committed to it for the long run.
We need Cori to keep building on the ERA work she’s done this year because we all deserve constitutional gender equality. By re-electing Cori, we’re ensuring that the movement for equality continues to have a strong, unapologetic voice in Congress and that we are getting closer to a future where we can all thrive.
Support our campaign today so Cori can continue to fearlessly legislate for women, Black and brown folks, LGBTQ+ people, and other marginalized groups in 2024 and beyond.
