Dear Friend of Missio Alliance,

As we enter the second week of our 2023 year-end campaign, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible community that surrounds Missio Alliance. Your generosity is inspiring and humbling!

With our hearts centered on Jesus, and our eyes focused on the renewal of the Church, Missio Alliance cultivates a prophetic, yet hopeful theological imagination that leads to action in our communities. It is my conviction, and that of the board of Missio Alliance, that the thriving of the Church in America is tied to our capacity to learn from women, voices of color, and those from the Majority World (Global South) context as we continue to cultivate a decolonized theology and practice that is holistic in nature.

One of our primary platforms to achieve this is through our online Writing Collectives. We have an amazing team of Leading Voices, Featured Writers, and regular Contributors — featuring theologians and missional practitioners from all over the nation — who write powerful articles for our site. Our writers provide insightful and necessary theological analyses on the complex issues the church on mission faces today. We work hard to ensure the diversity of those who write for us, continually seeking to add women, writers of color, and global voices to our teams.

In Spring 2024, Missio Alliance will launch a renewed and expanded Writing Fellows Cohort. This 7-month cohort will be comprised of 8-12 women, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), and Majority World voices, who wish to develop and mature their voice through the art and craft of writing. These individuals are not just aspiring writers; they are powerful voices ready to winsomely and prophetically shape theological narratives to bring about renewal and a more credible witness in the church.

This is where you come in!

Your support will directly contribute to providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to flourish in their writing vocation and hone their skills. By investing in their development, you are not only fostering individual growth, but also amplifying diverse voices that have the potential to inspire, inform, and transform our communities. The funds raised through this campaign will directly underwrite a significant portion of the costs incurred in running this cohort, ensuring that participation as a Writing Fellow remains accessible and affordable to all people. By doing so, we aim to eliminate financial barriers and provide an equitable platform for emerging missional thought leaders.

We cannot achieve this vision without your generous partnership in this Kingdom initiative!

Here's how you can contribute to the success of this Writing Fellows Cohort campaign:
* Make a Donation: Your financial support will directly impact the affordability of this cohort, enabling us to nurture, empower, and amplify a diverse array of voices.
+ A gift of $50 will contribute to providing essential materials for the cohort.
+ A donation of $140 offsets one month’s cohort cost for one person.
+ A generous gift of $250 or more underwrites lodging costs for a crucial retreat that is central to this cohort’s culminating experience.
* Spread the Word: Share our campaign within your network and on social media. ([link removed]) By raising awareness, you help us reach a wider audience and create a ripple effect of giving.
