John,
With the year quickly drawing to a close, we're reflecting on both the
incredible progress made in 2023 and the hurdles we face in 2024.
This year brought many strides forward: 65+ meetings with House and
Senate offices about the Afghan Adjustment Act, 60+ immigration reform
resources for policymakers, concrete legislative changes to protect
Dreamers and undocumented immigrants as Florida's policies evolved,
and tireless work to spark bipartisan conversations on Capitol Hill.
We aim to build on this progress and expand our programs in 2024. Can
you chip in today to keep this work going?
We are thrilled to see this positive momentum, but there remains a lot
of work ahead of us in 2024.
Earlier this year, court decisions cast a dark cloud over Deferred
Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), once again declaring it unlawful
and leaving Dreamers' futures uncertain. Divisive election rhetoric
and ongoing threats to asylum programs underscore the critical
importance of maintaining the progress your invaluable support has
helped us achieve.
**Will you make a gift today to help us reach our goal?**
When you make a contribution toward our $50,000 fundraising goal, you
are helping us expand the Forum's advocacy programs and provide hope
that the long-lasting, commonsense reform that immigrants and asylum
seekers deserve will soon become reality.
**John, are you with us? Your generous gift will directly fuel
our efforts to bridge divides, foster dialogue and work towards
bipartisan immigration solutions that reflect our shared values.**
We remain unwavering in our mission to mobilize networks to advance
immigrants' rights and strive for commonsense immigration reform. If
you can, please consider chipping in to help us meet our fundraising
goal and forward this message on to friends or family members to help
spread the word!
With Gratitude,
Caroline Soberanis
