The countdown to 2024 is on, John!

And while so many people are counting down to the first primary elections, we’re counting down to meeting the next generation of inspiring New American leaders at our upcoming Ready to Lead® trainings! 

Thanks to your support, we are excited to launch one of our most robust training schedules, dive into our first peer-reviewed research project, and partner with local organizations in key states to continue building our movement. 

Over the last 13 years, we have trained nearly 1,700 immigrant leaders across the country. There are 215 NALpistas in elected and appointed offices. In 2015, we counted just 1 alumna in a state legislature. Today, that number is 41 alumni in state legislatures across the country, and counting!  

I am so proud of the work we have accomplished together. In NAL’s 2023 training programs, we met 130 rising BIPOC leaders from 24 states and the District of Columbia. The intentional, inclusive space these trainings create are invaluable to fostering the next generation of leadership.
