John, our first FEC fundraising deadline of 2020 is approaching, so we're writing to ask if you can make a contribution to Sara Gideon's campaign to defeat Susan Collins.

Here's why it's important:

Once we reach our FEC fundraising deadline, we are going to report not just how much money we've raised, but how many donations make up that total.

And that donation number is critical. Because while Susan Collins has the support of Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and Washington Republicans, we have something she doesn't have: a lot of grassroots support.

So as we get closer and closer to our March 31st deadline, we are trying to not just raise as much money as we can, but we are also trying to get as many contributions as we can, as well. And that means we have to ask:

Can you make a $3 contribution to our campaign before our first FEC fundraising deadline of the year comes to a close? This one is so important.

Susan Collins has Donald Trump raising money for her. She has Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, and some of Brett Kavanaugh's biggest backers raising money for her.

But Sara Gideon has you, and if you chip in today, we can win this race.
