There’s been a lot written about Tammy’s potential opponents lately, so let me catch you up.

Wisconsin’s Senate race looks quiet on the surface, but that’s exactly what national Republicans want you to think.

In reality, not one but two right-wing megamillionaires are running secret campaigns to take on Tammy Baldwin — meeting with Senate Republicans’ campaign arm, hiring top GOP strategists, and even pledging to spend up to $20 million of their own personal wealth to win, all while delaying an official announcement for as long as possible.

This is all part of the “Ron Johnson playbook” — Republican Ron Johnson’s winning strategy when he defeated Democratic incumbent Russ Feingold in 2010.

Johnson announced late in the cycle to avoid personal financial disclosures for as long as possible, and then fueled his campaign with his own personal fortune.

We’re seeing déjà vu with Republicans like Eric Hovde following the same winning playbook, but together we have a chance to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself in 2024.

We need to start reaching voters, mobilizing Democrats, and preparing to respond to Republican attacks against Tammy’s record right now — Tammy and I are counting on your support to make it happen.
