Picking up a Republican House Seat is so important because Republicans only control the House by 7 members of 435 total. This close number makes it difficult for Republicans to pass even basic conservative bills.

One thing we must do is work to balance the budget.
The President wants to increase spending but is not willing to even consider cuts. It’s almost like he doesn’t care about the future of our country. Like he doesn’t care that we have th e most debt of any nation, ever.
Our national debt is more than double China’s, the closest nation’s debt.
In fact, our debt is more than 1/3 of the entire world’s national governments’ debt. When you add the debt that states like California have and local governments have, we might have half of the worlds’ government debt. (2)
Don’t you think we should get our own house in order? We need a Congress that controls spending and works to reduce our debt, not just reduce the rate at which we are acquiring new debt.

Should I serve in Congress, I will vote for policies that control spending and expand our economy so that we can pay down the debt like we did in 2001.
In 2001, we had a Republican-controlled House and Senate and President Bill Clinton who was willing to work with them to help our country move forward.
It's time to bring responsibility back to DC.
