I fight for climate justice because climate change exacerbates existing health, geography, income, race, and gender identity inequities. Despite the challenges of fighting this uphill battle, we have the opportunity now to ensure that we are not replicating harms that have gotten us to this point.
We must center our neighbors and communities, reconnect with the places we love, and uplift community-based solutions to realize a promising future. In Maine, we have deep ties to our communities and the ancestral Wabanaki land where we live, and there is so much potential to find common ground and build power across these shared values.
There is a lot of work ahead of us at MCV. We need you by our side to effectively push for a sustainable Maine and more equitable future for all. Please join me in supporting MCV with a year-end gift today.
