Dear Patriot, New Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has started releasing thousands of hours of footage from the January 6th protests at the Capitol. It is long overdue. Before I tell you why, let me explain who I am. My name is John Pierce. After serving in the United States Army, I graduated from Harvard Law, where I served as one of the very rare CONSERVATIVE former editors of the Harvard Law Review. I walked away from my corporate law practice because our nation needs a litigator who could go the distance against the God-like powers of the government. Trials are combat and make no mistake, when the federal government is trying to toss your client in prison, they don't hesitate to break the law themselves to make that happen. I know this first-hand and have been living it for months as I currently represent 27 January 6th Defendants through my organization, the National Constitutional Law Union, NCLU. More than ever, we need your support to keep going. The cost of litigation for most clients would be overwhelming, and NCLU does all it can to ease the burden of these families who have already been devastated and separated by jail time. My travel costs alone, which place me in DC temporary housing for months, have me coming out of already thin pockets. Any amount you can donate helps us tremendously, and I cannot express my gratitude enough for your support. Now, I’ve already overseen eleven trials for J6 defendants with more success than any lawyer in the country. Sentencing for our client Joe Thomas just concluded, and the government was demanding incarceration for ten years with immediate arrest. NCLU was able to reduce that to four years and ten months with a voluntary self-surrender. This gives him a few months to get his affairs in order so his family can endure the hardship. But we're not done fighting for Joe or anyone else! Our cases are making their way through appellate courts, and with the release of the January 6th footage, the door opens to writs of habeas corpus. In the appellate court, we must be granted a new trial to introduce new evidence and be able to use the newly released footage from the Capitol. Habeas corpus will give us a fighting chance to prove our clients are being held illegally. If you have seen any of this footage, it is jaw-dropping. There are scenes of Americans protecting lines of police from attacks by Antifa agitators. In other areas, U.S. Capitol Police are seen escorting and giving a tour to peaceful protesters within the halls of Congress. Additional police are on film directing protesters to the Capitol. And our defendants are in the footage! Let me be candid: NCLU has me and the partial time of a handful of other attorneys. With my litigation schedule, my time is already nonexistent. I barely have time to eat and get a haircut. I need to bring on more support for the best chance to get these men and women back home where they belong. Will you donate and help NCLU fight for these Americans? To give you an idea of what I have in front of me, here’s the partial trial schedule for NCLU’s January 6th Defendants: 12/15/23 – John George Todd III As I mentioned, travel and lodging in the Swamp is running us thousands of dollars each week for me and the NCLU staff. Will you chip in to help cover our costs? These Americans require our help. Are you in? Thank you for your time and support. I cannot thank you enough, and I'll be in touch soon with more updates. In Vigilance, John M.
