By now you've heard how Kate was forced to flee her home state of Texas after being denied an abortion—essential medical care—after she received a fatal fetal diagnosis that compromised her health and her future fertility.

Reproductive health care should not be controversial. It's necessary. It's a human right. And the Center has spent the last year—and the 30 years before—waging the forward fight for reproductive autonomy for me, for you, and for people all over the world.
