We're building a grassroots coalition to restore abortion rights in AZ and across the country
Indivisibles are working with allies around the clock to get an abortion rights amendment on the ballot in Arizona. We know when abortion is on the ballot turnout surges - and that helps pro-choice progressives up and down the ticket. But this sort of thing does not just happen. It requires hundreds of thousands of signatures to get an amendment on the ballot - and that requires lots of well trained volunteers to go out and get them. Here is an update on where things stand. 70 signature gathering events. 1,380 volunteers recruited. 533 volunteers trained. 65 - average number of signatures collected by each volunteer. $30k left to hit our grassroots fundraising goal. Election after election, we've seen voters turn out at record levels to defend reproductive freedom. And turnout will be vital in Arizona - a key 2024 battleground.
