Dear John,
As the year draws to its close, your local Green Party has seen a lot of action. We have delivered leaflets for the London Mayor and Assembly elections in May, reaching 1000s of residents in West Central London with our message of positive change and hope.
With Zoe Garbett, our candidate for Mayor, with an amazing list of candidates for the Assembly, with our very own West Central London constituency candidate Rajiv Sinha, and with many members and activists across London, we are out and about to change the sound and substance of politics in London for the better.
And in all this, we now also count among us our first local councillor, Mona Adam, of Golborne Ward in Kensington. Just last Sunday, we were out leafleting with Mona in Golborne (see picture).
Before I let you go into what is hopefully a restful end of the year, please let me invite you to a few local Green Party events taking place in January.
First up, our January monthly meeting, which will feature a discussion about our elections approach, and also hustings to select the Green Party general election candidates for the Kensington and Bayswater, Cities of Westminster and London, and Chelsea and Fulham constituencies.
