Hi Friend,

Over the last week, Never Back Down hosted events for Gov. DeSantis around Iowa and New Hampshire. Americans are coming out like never before to hear from Gov. DeSantis on his plans to turn this country around and actually win in November 2024.

  • We are also excited to have Iowa Governor Reynolds, Oklahoma Governor Stitt, U.S. Rep Chip Roy, and U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie joining us on the campaign trail! Real conservatives are showing their support for Gov. DeSantis.

Never Back Down has been on the road with First Lady Casey DeSantis as well in Iowa. The First Lady has been doing the rounds to highlight more of her work in Florida for veterans and families and also why Gov. DeSantis is the conservative winner we need in the White House.

WMUR: DeSantis says he sees path to victory through Iowa, New Hampshire

"Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis is moving on after missing out on the endorsement of New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu. In a visit Friday to the Granite State, the Florida governor said he still sees a path to victory through Iowa and New Hampshire. DeSantis is campaigning in New Hampshire state with his son, Mason. He said that after Sununu endorsed former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, there are no hard feelings. "Well, honestly, my son loves Sununu. He's like his favorite governor," DeSantis said. "He's a good governor. But, you know, Haley is an establishment candidate. The New Hampshire primary is about somebody that's going to shake it up. They do not like more of the same. We can't just rearrange deck chairs on the Titanic. I'm not here to manage the decline of this country. We're to reverse the decline."

Fox News: Iowa Gov. Reynolds, with DeSantis, takes aim at Trump over 'misleading' TV ad

"Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds of Iowa charges that former President Trump is "misleading" voters in her state. "It’s misleading and it’s not fair to Iowans," the governor said Monday night in an interview with Fox News Digital while referring to an ad the Trump campaign is running in the Hawkeye State that spotlights years-old clips of Reynolds praising the former president. Reynolds endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the race for the White House last month, and the two teamed up again in Bettendorf, Iowa, with four weeks to go until the state's caucuses kick off the GOP presidential nominating calendar."

CBS: DeSantis goes after Trump on abortion, COVID-19 and the border wall

"Donald Trump "flip-flipped" on abortion, overreached in response to COVID-19 and failed to uphold his campaign pledge to get Mexico to pay for a wall on the southern U.S. border, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Tuesday in Iowa.

DeSantis, who is in a distant second place behind Trump in most national polls in the battle for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, stepped up his case against the former president during a CNN town hall in Des Moines five weeks before the state's first-in-the-nation caucuses. He zeroed in on abortion in a state where evangelical voters form the backbone of the GOP, contrasting Trump's recent skepticism about strict anti-abortion laws with his earlier comments about protecting the sanctity of life."

Des Moines Register: Ron DeSantis in Iowa criticizes Trump and Biden for banning pistol braces, bump stocks

"DeSantis visited the Crossroads Shooting Sports range with U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Iowa House Majority Leader Matt Windschitl....The Florida governor spoke against regulations on bump stocks and pistol braces — a topic he touched on while on the campaign trail in October."

Fox News: Over 500 elected officials have endorsed DeSantis as presidential battle heats up ahead of Iowa caucuses

"Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s presidential campaign has now received the endorsements of over 500 elected officials across the United States as the governor campaigns this week in Iowa with several of those supporters including GOP Rep. Chip Roy. As of Tuesday, the DeSantis campaign tells Fox News Digital that 543 current and former elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels have endorsed him for president as part of a list that shows the "significant strength of his momentum in early states." The DeSantis campaign published a map on its website outlining where all the more than 500 endorsements from elected officials came from which includes 97 elected officials in Iowa, 63 in New Hampshire, and 68 in South Carolina."

Governor Ron DeSantis has never backed down from a tough fight. He’s a native Floridian with blue-collar roots, played baseball at Yale, and graduated with honors from Harvard Law School. He served in the Navy as a JAG officer in Iraq, worked as a federal prosecutor, and worked in the halls of Congress. As governor, he has kept Florida free, taken on woke corporations, and stood up to the liberal media.
