I just got arrested while taking action with over 80 movement leaders from across the country in solidarity with the Palestinian people. 

Today we staged a protest at the Capitol building in DC, calling on Congress to oppose the proposed $106 billion military funding package to Israel and U.S. southern border militarization, and to demand a ceasefire in Gaza now.

The mass violence inflicted upon the Palestinian people must end now. Our communities, connected in solidarity, will do everything we can to make it so. As people of conscience, we call for the genocide being carried out in Gaza to end immediately. Will you join me in taking action today?

I took action today because as a leader of an alliance representing more than 90 organizations across the US who are fighting for the right of communities to stay in their homes and against government-sponsored displacement, I am clear that our fights are connected.
