The Androscoggin River is expected to reach record levels by noon on Wednesday, December 20th. Impacted flood areas include low-lying areas of N River Road, Newbury Street, & Riverside Drive. The City of Auburn strongly recommends evacuating these areas.
Other localized flooding is also expected. Please limit unnecessary travel within the city.
If you choose to remain in your home, you should monitor water levels on an ongoing basis as they may rise rapidly and unexpectedly, making it difficult or impossible for responders to reach you in an emergency.

A free overnight shelter has been established for Auburn and Lewiston residents at the Ramada Inn, 490 Pleasant Street, Lewiston. Please bring identification with you, and a crate for any pets.
