This year, Texas Democrats have shown what unity and dedication can achieve. We held the line against school voucher scams, safeguarding Texas public schools. We launched Texas Blueprint [[link removed]] : the 2024 Coordinated Campaign for Texas, uniting county parties and allied partners to build on our collective goals to establish Texas as a bonafide battleground state for the betterment of working families. And our Lone Star Rising [[link removed]] candidate recruitment project led to the largest number of Texas Democratic candidates across the state in years.
So as we head into 2024, our slate of candidates is as diverse and broad as our great state. We're setting our sights on taking on Ted Cruz, one of the most beatable Senate candidates in the country. And with Texas' 40 electoral votes in play, we stand at the threshold of reshaping the national political landscape.
