Over the weekend, we witnessed deeply disturbing comments from Donald Trump, as you’ve surely heard by now. As he whips up support for his 2024 election campaign, Trump claimed immigrants are 'poisoning the blood' of our nation.
This kind of hate speech has no place in our society and demands immediate condemnation from our leaders. Shockingly, Rep. Troy Balderson, the representative for 800,000 Ohioans in the 12th District has remained silent. Balderson endorsed Trump for 2024 in August.
Our time demands leaders who will stand up against hate and champion the safety and dignity of every family. Every family deserves to feels safe and respected in this country. That’s a big part of what America is about.
